ONE Development debuts in UAE capital with AI-powered ONE Residence on Al Reem
ABU DHABI – ONE Development has officially launched ONE Residence in Abu Dhabi, marking the company’s debut in the capital with a project positioned at the intersection of technology, design and future mobility.
The announcement was made during an evening event this week at Emirates Palace, attended by high-net-worth investors, industry leaders and the company’s brand ambassador, global music icon Amr Diab. The launch follows the successful unveiling of Laguna Residence in Dubai and signals the developer’s growing regional footprint.
ONE Residence
Located on Al Reem Island, ONE Residence is designed as a next-generation residential tower that introduces a fully integrated aerial mobility ecosystem within a liveable urban environment.
Standing 31 storeys high, the development is positioned as the first residential tower globally to embed this level of aerial transport infrastructure directly into its architectural and operational framework.
Aerial mobility
At the core of ONE Residence is a rooftop platform engineered for electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, commonly known as eVTOLs. The system is designed to support autonomous passenger operations, including a dedicated VIP mode, alongside an integrated logistics drone port enabling last-mile deliveries.
The aerial mobility ecosystem has been developed in collaboration with Advanced Mobility Hub, a member of Multi Level Group, and is powered by VertiHub, the group’s vertical mobility solutions platform. The integration reflects a broader shift towards multi-layered transport solutions within high-density urban developments.
Strategic expansion
The Abu Dhabi launch builds on ONE Development’s recent momentum across the region, including projects in Dubai and expansions into Egypt. Speaking at the event, Ali Al Gebely, Founder and Chairman of ONE Development, described the project as a milestone for the company’s long-term strategy. He said launching in the capital carried particular significance for the Emirati developer, aligning its ambitions with Abu Dhabi’s vision for innovation-led growth and high-quality urban living.

Set along the waterfront of Al Reem Island, ONE Residence is planned around a balance between city connectivity and island tranquillity.
